The management and control of the Affiliated States Bottled Water Association (ASBWA) and its affairs shall be vested in a Board of Directors. Please meet the members of the ASBWA Interim Board of Directors

Jay Trumbull

President

Jay Trumbull, Sr., of Panama City, is the President/Owner of Culligan Water franchises with seven offices in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. He also owns a plumbing company and HVAC company in Panama City. Jay served several years on the Bay County Planning Commission, the Panama City Housing Authority, the Bay Medical Board Foundation, and the Bay County Chamber of Commerce. He was appointed to the Florida Transportation Commission in 2011 and served as Chairman from 2015 – 2019. Currently, Mr. Trumbull serves on the Board of Trustmark National Bank

Jay was recently appointed to the Triumph Gulf Coast Board; a nonprofit corporation organized to oversee the expenditure of funds recovered by the Florida attorney general for economic damages to the state that resulted from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Jay is an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Panama City. He and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 34 years and have three children and seven grandchildren.

Craig Brewton

Vice President

Craig has been the President of AquaOne for the last 7 years and was the CFO prior to taking that position.  AquaOne has branches in Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene and Wichita Falls Texas.    Craig is a graduate from West Texas A&M University with a bachelors in Accounting and Finance.  Before entering the water industry, Craig was an accountant in Amarillo where he focused on Audit and Corporate taxes.  He earned his CPA in 2003.

Brian Rose

Treasurer

Brian Rose is President of Texas Water House. Brian started in the bottled water industry thirty-seven years ago after seven successful years with a Fortune 500 company specializing in auditing, acquisitions and subsidiary management. Brian has served the bottled water industry as President of the MABWA for two terms and has been Secretary/Treasurer of the association for decades. He has also served as President of the Texas Water Quality Association and is currently the Treasurer for their association. Brian is an active board member for both MABWA and TWQA. Brian and his wife, Sharon, live in Flower Mound, Texas and have two daughters. Shelby is in her fifth year as a 6th grade math teacher in Plano, Texas.  Kelly and her husband, Curt, both have advertising/marketing careers and live in Norman OK.

Joel Burger

An independent distributor since 2001, Joel Burger owns and operates Sequoyah Water, LLC. Joel entered the bottled water industry shortly after graduating from high school and worked to build the foundation of his home and office delivery (HOD) business while completing his degree at Toccoa Falls College. Headquartered in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Sequoyah Water services customers in North Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Western North Carolina. Joel resides in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, with his wife, Kimberly and their son.

Clay Bell

Clay Bell is Vice President and General Manager Melwood Springs Water Company where he oversees daily operations and sales for the Blue Ridge Georgia facility. He has 39 years in the Beverage industry with Shasta Beverage, Pepsi Cola, and Melwood Springs Water Co. Clay is a member of the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA), President of the Southeastern Bottle Water Association (SEBWA) and a Certified Bottle Water Plant Operator, PCQI qualified. Clay lives in Blue Ridge Georgia with his wife Tamme where they enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. Clay is also an avid beekeeper maintaining 50 hives.

Malone Garrett

Malone Garrett is the CEO of Nantze Spring, Inc. in Dothan, Alabama. The company produces an array of different sizes of water and flavored water under its own brands, Nantze Springs, Nantze Springs Elite, SugarNot Kids drinks, and Sweet Thang.  Nantze also is a co-packer for many national and regional companies.  Malone earned his BA in Business at Auburn University in Dothan and his MBA from Troy State University.   While working on his masters, Malone’s final thesis was on bottled water where he completed and graduated in 1990. Malone and his wife Kathy have three children, Iverson, Jack and Amelia. Malone is the current Vice President of SEBWA, on the Executive Board of Allied Purchasing, and is a Past President of SEBWA. He has been involved in the Bottled Water Industry for nearly 30 years.

Linda Griffin

President Linda Griffin began work at Highbridge Springs by driving a forklift and selling gallon jugs of water from the back of a pickup over 40 years ago. The family-owned business entered the bottled water market in its infancy in 1982, years before most national brands. Sharing the 32-acre underground facility is Kentucky Underground Storage, started by the Griffins the same year.  Today the Wilmore, Kentucky based Highbridge Springs sells to retailers, homes and offices in 30 Kentucky counties and an additional 6 states.  Highbridge Springs is also one of the oldest women-owned companies in Kentucky. Griffin graduated from Western Kentucky University and now resides in Lexington, Kentucky.

Lynette Macfee

Lynette is the Vice President of sales for Oasis/Waterways.  She is a long standing sales executive for the drinking water industry with a passion for sales, customer service, and building relationships. With over 30+ years of experience related to manufacturing and distribution of water coolers, ozonation devices, and filtration, she has a passion drinking water and sharing her knowledge with customers and friends alike.  She currently resides in Boise, ID and participates with many boards throughout the US, including NWBWA & ASBWA.

Philip Parmer

Philip Parmer is Vice President, general manager and owner of Parmer water company. Along with his brother Randall, they have been in the business for 31 years. Philip lives in Lagrange Georgia with his wife Wendy and is a member of first Baptist church. He enjoys traveling, playing golf and most of all spending time with their 3 children and three grandchildren.

Steve Raupe

Steve Raupe is CEO of Ozarka Water and Coffee Service, second generation. He was born and raised in Oklahoma City and has been involved in the business all his life. He was named president of Ozarka in 1992 and took over as CEO when his father died in 1998. Steve graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 1988 with a bachelor’s in finance. Past civic involvement includes Better Business Bureau, past board member; YMCA, past board member; American Heart Association, past chairman; International Bottled Water Association, past chairman; Texas Bottled Water Association, past president.  Steve is currently a gold member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Steve is married to Susan and is the parent of four children, Justin, 28; Ashley and Tyler, 23; and Evan, 20.

David Redick

David Redick, President of Steelhead, is a 30-year water industry veteran. He directs all manufacturing operations, business strategies, marketing and sales strategies, and advertising and public relations of the company. David purchased Steelhead along with his partner Jack Walsh in Jan 2021. A native Californian, David graduated from UC Berkeley in 1990 as a Mechanical Engineer and followed with a Graduate degree in Controls Engineering. Post-graduation, David developed vast experience in complex system design and project management in the defense arena before transitioning into the bottled water industry in 1995. Over his career, David has excelled in engineering management, operations, general management, sales, and marketing for many of the largest US bottled water equipment manufacturers, including Portola Packaging, CapSnap, RMI Ram Mechanical Inc, True Integration LTD, and Steelhead Inc. which he now owns. David’s expertise lies in building solid relationships and customer trust worldwide, developing and delivering systems in over 90 countries. These relationships and his vast experience have made him an integral part of the Steelhead team.

Robert Smith

During Robert’s time in the bottled water industry, he has always been a member of The South Atlantic Bottled Water association serving on its board of directors and being President of the association for several years. Robert has also been a member of the International bottled Water Association for more than 20 years serving on every committee at IBWA at one time or another. Robert has Chaired the State and Regional Association Committee, The Membership Committee, The Government Relations Committee, and the Political Action Committee. Robert has served on the IBWA Board of Directors and IBWA Executive Committee for several years. He served as Vice Chairman of the International Bottled Water Association and was elected Chairman of the International Bottled Water Association in November of 2019 at the IBWA annual meeting in Anaheim California.

Drew Kiser

Drew Kiser holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Service degree from the University of Virginia Clinch Valley College. Kiser has over 27 years of experience in the water treatment industry with Industrial, Commercial and Residential applications. He spent 8 years as a Field Service Technician and Service Manager for Ecolochem, Inc.  The company was acquired by GE Water and Process Technology in 2005 where he worked as a Service Manager for all Tennessee Valley Authority accounts unit moving to the position of Human Performance Manager in 2010.  In September 2012 Kiser joined the McCollum Water Conditioning group where he is responsible for multiple Culligan businesses specializing in Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Bottled Water HOD.  In addition to his multitude of responsibilities with McCollum Water Conditioning, he has been instrumental in the bottling plant receiving the IBWA Excellence in Manufacturing award for 24 consecutive years.
